Student Visa (Subclass 500)

Working Holiday Maker (WHM) Visas (Subclass 417 & 462)

These visas are designed for young adults to holiday in Australia, with the ability to undertake short-term work to supplement their travel funds.

  • Age Limits: Generally 18 to 30 (or 35 for certain countries).
  • Key Condition: Work with any one employer is generally limited to 6 months. Short-term study (up to 4 months) is also permitted.



New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 461)

This visa is for a non-New Zealand citizen who is a member of the family unit of a New Zealand citizen who holds (or is eligible for) a Special Category Visa (SCV) (Subclass 444).

This visa allows a person to come to Australia for medical treatment or consultation, or to support a patient receiving treatment.

  • Condition: Requires a demonstration of arrangements for satisfactory treatment with a health provider in Australia.
